Christmas is coming to Poole’s Cavern!

We’re very excited to announce our events for this year’s Christmas at the Cavern!

Join us as we welcome Santa back to his favourite natural grotto outside of the North Pole – Poole’s Cavern in Buxton!

PLUS – BRAND NEW FOR 2025:

Mrs Claus will be hosting her very own grotto visits!

Bring your dog along to meet Santa with our new Santa Paws experience!

Tickets will be on sale on the following dates –

Poole’s Cavern Visitor Centre, Cavern and Shop Opening Times

The cave will be closed to all visitors on Monday 6th July for essential maintenance. The Café, Gift Shop, Woodland Trails, Thomas’s Trail and Car Park will remain open as normal. The cave will reopen as usual from Tuesday 7th, and we’ll be ready to welcome you back underground!

April – September
9:45am – 5:00pm Daily

October – March
(excluding December School Holidays & February Half-Term)
9:45am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday
9:45am – 4:30pm Saturday & Sunday
*Closed Christmas Day & Boxing Day
