This Christmas, experience festive music in the unforgettable setting of Poole’s Cavern in Buxton.
Join us for a special evening of live music, festive favourites and Christmas spirit, beginning with 45 minutes of festive brass music from Fairfield Brass Band in the Visitor Centre, followed by an interval before heading underground.
In the atmospheric depths of the cavern, singer and musical director Ray Mcleod will lead a 45-minute Christmas sing-along, with festive favourites brought to life by the cavern’s incredible natural acoustics.
A Christmas concert with a difference, this intimate event is perfect for friends and family, or for starting a new festive tradition.
Christmas Lights
Experience Poole’s Cavern with a magical Christmas twist! From the 1st of December 2026 to the 3rd of January 2027, the cavern will be illuminated with festive lights, creating a truly atmospheric setting for your underground adventure. Whether you choose a Guided Tour or Self-Guided App Tour, you’ll discover the cavern beautifully transformed for Christmas – making this an extra special time of year to visit.
