Buxton Civic Association (BCA) Online Ticketing Terms and Conditions
- Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the sale of tickets, memberships, and event registrations through BCA’s online ticketing system. By purchasing tickets or memberships, you agree to comply with these terms.

- Purchase of Tickets
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets or memberships.
- Order Process: Orders are placed through our online system. You will receive a confirmation email once your purchase is complete.
- Payment: Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. We accept major credit and debit cards.
- Pricing and Availability
- Pricing: All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Availability: Tickets and memberships are subject to availability. BCA reserves the right to limit the number of tickets sold per person.
- Delivery of Tickets
- Electronic Tickets: Tickets will be delivered electronically via email. You must present the electronic ticket at the event or venue.
- Physical Tickets: If applicable, physical tickets will be mailed to the address provided during purchase.
- Refunds and Exchanges
- Refund Policy: Refunds are only available if the event is canceled or rescheduled. Requests for refunds must be made within 14 days of the event date.
- Exchanges: Tickets may be exchanged for another event of equal or lesser value, subject to availability.
- Event Cancellation
- Cancellation: If an event is cancelled, BCA will notify you via email and provide a full refund or the option to exchange tickets.
- Rescheduling: If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will be valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund.
- User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when purchasing tickets or memberships.
- Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our online ticketing system.
- Prohibited Activities: You must not use our online ticketing system for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

- Response Time: We aim to acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days and to provide a full response within 20 working days.
- Resolution: We will investigate your complaint thoroughly and aim to resolve it to your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the complaint to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (www.ico.org.uk).
